Food labels you DON’T want to throw away
Budget cuts have made fundraising all the more important this year. George Watts really needs our help in bringing in the money our teachers and students need for things like paper, lamination rolls, paper clips, tape, folders, ink cartridges, etc.
We can raise BIG BUCKS just by clipping certain symbols off the packages of foods we already buy. The nickels and dimes really do add up. Please don’t thrown money in the trash!
- Read the lists of products below.
- Print out the lists and post them in the kitchen.
- Train your kids to recognize the brands and symbols you want.
- Tell your friends and family.
Each of the 3 programs below allows George Watts to redeem food labels for money and/or equipment. This is a super easy way to help the school all year long – even through the summer!
Drop off your labels in the collection box set up in the Primary hallway (near the carpool lane) or send them through your child’s folder.

1. Campbell’s Labels for Education
Simply save the UPC labels from participating products – from brands like Campbell’s, SpaghettiO’s, Prego, Pepperidge Farm, and V8. For each label, the school gets 1 point (or 5 points for select products). This year’s goal: 500 points. Click here for the complete list of products.

2. Tyson Project A+
Look for and clip the Tyson Project A+ logo on all Tyson products. Each one brings in 24 cents! This year’s goal: $500. For a complete list of participating Tyson products, click here.

3. Box Tops 4 Education
Clip the Box Top logo off of hundreds of products in almost every aisle of the grocery store. We collect the box tops all throughout the year, but must send them in twice a year for redemption. Each box top is worth 10 cents for our school.
