With our Edible Schoolyard project in the works, George Watts is in good company. The new organic vegetable and herb garden at the White House has been in the news a lot lately, taking public gardening to a new level!
“Its most important role,” Mrs. Obama said, “will be to educate children about healthful, locally grown fruit and vegetables at a time when obesity and diabetes have become a national concern.”
